music is cool, but a little too metal-squeal sounding to me. i'm really picky about certain sounds. the vocals are just fine, but i personally cant stand this type of vocal.. i'm thinking like, dave mustaine-ish? so, i'd say they're good, but just not good for me. check them out though, you might have different taste than me and really like them.

really nice voice, flow, professional sound. i really like the first track, but the second is a little too R&B for me, that's why it's in w/ the "not my style" blog. check him out.

i also really want to like 1AD7, but there's just something that's not right. i don't know, i DO really like their style and the forceful vocals, but i listen to a track and skip to the next hoping the next is better. i guess i just think they need to step it up even more. maybe it's the lyrics?? maybe it's a little cheesy for me?? not complex enough?? i really don't know. it's been like a year since i've listened last. just happened to come across them again. if i had the time right now i'd check out myspace to see if they've got some new stuff. i truly want to like this band. i like stuff that's like watching someone get punched in the face, and this is.

p.s. i was going to say they remind me a bit of Hed P.E., just saw they've opened for them. some of their tracks remind me of old school Red Hot Chili Peppers

DIRT SHOW

i really want to like this dirt show. there are parts i like.. i like the energy, i like pissed off music, but when i listen on loop it's just not for me. i guess maybe something gets a little cheezy for me. i don't know, like i said, i'd like to like them. definitely recommended you check them out though.
